Lori Stanley Roeleveld is an author, speaker, and disturber of hobbits who enjoys making comfortable Christians late for dinner. Biblical, funny, and real, she inspires courage and Christ-centered confidence. She’s authored three non-fiction books including Running from a Crazy Man, Jesus and the Beanstalk, and the upcoming, The Art of Hard Conversations from Kregel Publishing, as well as a Christmas novella, Red Pen Redemption.Though she has degrees in Psychology and Biblical Studies, Lori learned the most from studying her Bible in life’s trenches. In 2015, Lori’s blog was named one of the Top 100 Christian Blogs, and one post has been featured on Ann Voskamp’s blog twice. A single blog post was viewed over 2 million times, and several others went viral on Facebook. Lori is a popular speaker at women’s events and has enjoyed being on faculty at conferences including Iron Sharpens Iron for women (Worcester), ReNEW: Retreat for New England Writing, and Blue Ridge Mountain Christian Writers Conference.

A retired homeschool mom with a day job, Lori lives the Jesus adventure in Rhode Island.
